Tough but needed conversations with founder of the Consciously Unbiased campaign Bindu Lokre

From MTV Networks to MAC Cosmetics, to Blowpro Haircare to Satya Jewelry, Bindu has dedicated her career to building strategic marketing partnerships and creating innovative ways to service consumers worldwide. She brings an array of expertise in global marketing and ecommerce and she aspires to deliver the best multi-channel experience for consumers.

After graduating from The George Washington University, She moved to New York City to develop multi-million dollar, integrated marketing and sponsorship programs across MTV Networks programming and events. Her love for travel and new cultural experiences lead her to her next role at MAC Cosmetics to institute a global marketing strategy across twenty countries to create brand awareness and widen product distribution through online and mobile channels. Since then, she has provided lifestyle brands with a focused branding and marketing foundation to reach their goals across various channels.

Most recently, Bindu has been building out Consciously Unbiased which is an organization committed to generating and supporting the best ideas and action on implicit bias and creating inclusive and equitable communities for ALL. We aspire to spotlight the need for inclusivity across all biases and provide experiences that will encourage habit-changing behavior, resulting in a more equitable existence.

Bindu resides in Hoboken with her husband and two young children.
